Mind Styling: An Awareness, Learning & Self-Care Workshop
The Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Health & Wellness and Counseling Ministries invite hairstylists, barbers, and members of the community to a special forum on Mind Styling: The Balancing Act Hairstylists & Barbers Encounter in Maintaining Professional Boundaries and Relationships When Mental Health Issues Exist.
Hairstylists and barbers often build meaningful relationships with the people they serve. Those relationships can sometimes include conversations involving depression, anxiety, personal struggles, and other mental health concerns. This workshop is designed to increase awareness, encourage healthy professional boundaries, and provide practical information about treatment, referrals, and self-care.
