Inspirational Quote: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Marianne WIlliamson
Food for thought – Who are you?
When I read the above quote from Marianne Williamson, it often makes me ask myself the question, “Who am I?” Depending on what is happening in you and around this answer may change, however, it is one we need to consistently ask ourselves. There are going to be situations and circumstances that may come the way that will rock us to the core of who we are. There may be other situations that will cause us to grow and become stronger and wiser. However, in the midst of both of those processes, it is critical that we are always self-aware. When you know your strengths, it will help you to be able to make adjustments to address challenges. When you know your weakness, it will allow you to make the necessary adjustments to seek help. Choose today to get to know who you are. You never know, you may actually like yourself! If there are areas that you may not like as much, make the necessary changes to become a better you! You CAN DO IT, we have confidence in you!!
